I'm the department head for meat department. There is simply too many things that need done that can't get done in a timely manner. They refuse to give any help and expect you to work through it all while being paid far below market value which is why their employee retention rate is so high.

What did you like most about the interview process?
I knew someone so it really didn't matter
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to solve problems with efficiency and grace.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like the people I work with on the daily basis. We get along and have each other's backs. Upper management does not.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Upper management needs to communicate more with their peers instead of treating everyone like a number for that is exactly what they do but will ague on the contrary.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because I know my work ethic. I have made this company more money than some of the people they've had in the past and yet they say they can't afford to pay anymore whilst having applications online that state otherwise.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My store manager is the best guy I've ever had the pleasure of working with however upper management is a completely different story when they over promise things they shouldn't. Upper management takes a lot of credit for what we at the store level accomplish.
