Overall, I feel the company needs stronger leadership & needs to be on the same page. There are too many silos & the company has an identity crisis. People are disgruntled...there are forced "fun activities" but no real teamwork fostering. My team is great but we are very segmented.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
While I am unhappy with my salary and feel disheartened knowing that a male doing the same job as me with leas experience is making much more.... it is a relatively easy job for me. Benefits are good and its stable so for now it is tolerable.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeibg something I have been working hard on come to fruition and seeing pisitive changes that I uave helped make.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I feel they really do care about work/life balance. They give nice bonuses and are flexible with the working from home

They care about the lives of their employees and work/life balance. They understand how important family is especially when there is a crisis - that is one of the main reasons I have stayed even tho my pay is low
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Unsure about the leadership team as they keep to themselves, siloed with the other members of the leadership team. I think they could get much more insight if they would communicate more with everyone on a regular basis. Its cery segregated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team is easy to work with for the most part. We work really well together with the exception of one personn that is a non stop complainer and doesnt take feedback well. Working on changing that dynamic. I love that our team collaberates and are eager to learn more and share experience
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My immediate surroundings are positive because the person I share an office with is awesome to work with, fun and a very positive person, and we work well together. Others who are more disgruntled are harder to be around. I try and limit my interactions with them and not react with things they say
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Their heart is in the right place but until we are adequately staffed, we should be spending $$$ on recruiting, not a new ad campaign. They are just now starting to see this. But this should have been the focus since the end of covid. Lots of silos instead of big picture working towards common goal
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most are open to new ideas & new ways of thinking. There are some that are hold-outs for the old ways but slowly coming around. Most everyone is friendly. Wish our leader would foster more teamwork and team building. He shows up when needed but doesn't interact with us as much as I think he should.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My salary should be much higher for my level of experience & value I bring. I know that my male counterpart with significantly fewer years of experience is making significantly more money than me. This is frustrating because I asked for more & was told I was at the top limit - he was hired after me
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel highky undervalued because I know that my counterpart, gets paid about 15k more than me even though I have a degree in the job that I am doing and he doesnt, plus I probably have at least 15 more years of experience than he does. He is male - I am female so not sure if that is the reason
