Review from Engineering Dept

Very good health benefits and company discounts

Review from Operations Dept

When they don't cut our pay by 5% as they have in the past.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Havent got my deposit in my bank account

Our jobs at other companies make 25% more than we do for less work

Full 401K match (not just 50%) better pay

Better pay and fair and consistent expectations

Years of service and dependability means nothing

Treating and expecting the same from everyone

I have 30 years experience and make below the National average.

I know that my compensation is below my peers.

You can't get issue resolved through the HR locally or the corporate level

Review from Operations Dept

We have a low 401(k) match, equity/stock/cash bonuses are unavailable to front line workers outside of sales

Review from Sales Dept

Merit is constantly withheld whenever there is a bump and benefits are always the first on the chopping block if the company isn't meeting it's profit goals. They are average for industry but the company runs lean and expects more with less people, benefits should reflect that.

Stanley Black and Decker, formed as a result of merger of Black and Decker Inc. with Stanley Works represents a great American company story; focus more on short term on stock market price with no plan to gain in long term – all signs of a dying company! 1. No

Review from Engineering Dept

Weekends off to get better rest for third shift

Review from Product Dept

Company is constantly removing/reducing benefits, I can't remember the last time they introduced a new benefit to reward employees for their hard work. We're always expected to do more with less.

Review from Engineering Dept

Pay rate too low for certain jobs.

Review from Product Dept

Yes. Pay raises have been frozen until further notice for everyone. Reinstating those ASAP is a must.

During layoffs, some departments are having to pick up the slack and are piled with more responsibilities. Great responsibility does not come with better pay.

Review from Operations Dept

Stop paying executive teams 100's of multiples more then the ave employee.

Review from Engineering Dept

There are jobs that get posted Bachelors preferred. That level of pay does not come after the first 90 days, year, or five years. Bachelor and under living wage is pretty poor ethics.

Profit sharing would be great.
