Payday, slow days where you had time to breathe and catch up on different duties

Working with my coworkers and talking with my manager

Review from Product Dept

Working with the customer is always the best

Getting to finally go home

Helping people. Its why I work here.

The customers are the main reason for me to get up in the morning and go to work despite of the co-workers giving me on welcome behaviors every single day making my life miserable but but the customers turn that around for the moment that they're in front of me at the cash register

Despite of all the unwelcome behavior that I've been getting the whole year is the customers they're the ones that want me to wake up in the morning and go to work I love the customers

Inclusive work space and a supportive boss

Going to work , i love the comarady and the customers overall are great

the end of the shift is exhilarating

When things run smoothly with a customer interaction and everyone walks away happy.

My coworkers/friends. I also really enjoy when a customer gives me a huge order, and im there to complete it and when they pick it up and they look so HAPPY! or when prom season comes around and I make promposals! UGH I LOVE MY JOB

Review from Marketing Dept

Helping people and getting my stuff done

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Lack of effective leadership. The employees tend to be knowledgeable and hard working in their areas, but the lack of effective leadership often results in work halted or left incomplete.

hire a diverse management staff

Update systems. Update pay. Stop threatening. Create a team environment

It starts at the top. Staples upper management absolutely knows they need to change.

This company is definitely failing as a whole, and is starting to move to an online front instead of retail. The issue is both website and retail options do not have any real communication so most customers come inside for items retail does not sell. Useless/random products are sold a lot.

Pay employees more. Let them sit. Rest is not a perk that you can take away its a human right. Stop letting your customers abuse employees. STOP UNDERSTAFFING ON PURPOSE. Your lean staffing strategy is idiotic. Your employees are human beings not robots.

Staples needs new management, period.

it's a dying business grasping to hang on

understaffed, overpriced goods, underpaying employees

Better pay and better mangera

We need managers that are voted through staff or something where w eknow our mangers arent treating the staff like there treating me

Every doing their job would be a fantastic start.

customer service and be customer focused most of the time

boring work environment without any challenges

Review from Sales Dept

Leadership out of touch and no empowerment to solve Custer issues immediately.

Empty shelves filled with product no one wants. Staples shouldn't be selling beach umbrellas and uv light sanitizers

Management only cares about their far to lucrative bonuses. And there is nobody to speak for the employees.

Customers abuse associates and corporate could care less

Respect... there is none here.

No room for more $. GM laughs at me instead of listens. GM lies to me about promotion potential and more $, just tells me to keep waiting. Ive waited over a year bringing it up many times and every time I have a meeting to talk about it I leave completely demoralized. Staples doesnt care about me.
