Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the leadership team takes my function for granted - I'd love to see them invest more in the people who make momentive a great place to work.
What makes you most happy at work?
My manager is really inspiring - so I'm excited to do great work every day so I can continue to be a part of the impact that she drives across our entire organization.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is committed to excellence from the top down. I'm confident when I'm giving 100% effort on a project, my team members are doing the same, and excellent work is always recognized and appreciated by our functional leadership team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
New hires are always brought in at higher base salaries. The company needs to review the base salaries of tenured employees. Also, people who are more junior in their career generally value cash over equity, so the company needs to adjust as we usually over-index on equity for all roles.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager is one of the most supportive people I've ever met - in my personal or professional life. She is so deeply invested in my success and happiness at work, is an incredible teacher, is thoughtful about how she divides work, constantly checks in with the team, and is an incredible listener.
