Incredible potential. Many issues. Top heavy. Some jerks dragging things down. Some wonderful people trying to make things better. Long way to go for DEI. Tech/tech practices out of date. And I'm hopeful... this could go from ok/good, to amazing if we just focus on a few specific issues
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company chose to underpay me significantly. I have many people reporting to me that make more. That feels awful, and makes me feel taken advantage of.
What makes you most happy at work?
With so many issues, everything I do has a huge impact. That is very satisfying. I also enjoy coaching/mentoring/supporting people to grow and do their best work. There is a ton of opportunity for that here.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There are regular town halls, and updates. That's excellent. There are some leaders who walk the walk, and are very authentic, and they carry the day. There do seem to be both a lot of leaders (top-heavy company) and lots of inauthentic ones.
