Momentive is a quickly-growing, but not insanely growing company. Because of this, as I have provided value to the organization, I have been promoted and rewarded quickly without asking. Meanwhile, I find that innovation is easy implement because we have mature structures and leadership.

Momentive has been a great place t grow my career while also raising kids. I love that I am able to be challenged at work while also knowing I can take care of the things I need to at home.

Seeing my team be successful and getting recognition from cross functional leaders for that success.

My team is driven towards what they need to learn to grow and be the next thing. I love the constant connection to career growth.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I love that our 401K and stock refreshers both vest immediately. The company really pours that money into our wallets rather than holding it hostage until we have tenure like they do at other companies.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team sees all of us as real people. Yes, they want to grow our business, but they also understand that the business is being powered by real people who have lives, needs, and reasons for working here or leaving.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has had a year in which there has been a lot of change. I love that the team pulls together and really figures out how to arrive at the best outcomes for the company together, with everyone willing to pitch in however they can.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that our leadership team is so transparent. There is literally time in every All Hands call for our leaders to answer questions from the floor. They are willing to take any type of question publicly, and this sort of transparency breeds accountability throughout our company.
What makes you most happy at work?
I get to work with our leadership to learn and facilitate the things that are going to drive us forward in the future. It's so cool to hear about how customers use our products and how we lean into those use cases to make the experience better and more valuable for them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People at Momentive are truly nice. When I started here, it took my 6 months to realize that I had my guard up, but that I could let it down because no one is going to stab you in the back here. That sort of behavior is just not ok with such a nice group of people.
