This is such a great place to work and we are fired up for a big 2021!
Get rid of the sorority culture in People Team and bro club in management. I remember one of the Goldie speakers said that he regretted keeping loyal employees/friends who are not good for the company for too long.
Smart, empathetic, curious, care about customers and one another
They are transparent, approachable and display great empathy for employees.
Super-approachable, collaborative, and they seem to really enjoy working with one another!
I loved the chance to present my ideas in the final round.
Fun, super-creative and smart. We get to work with an incredibly fun brand which is a plus.
Challenging (in a good way) work and the fact our products deliver such phenomenal value for our customers!
Free Headspace account! And generous equity refresher grants that vest over 3 years, not 4, and start vesting the following quarter
We are a feedback company and are encouraged to give/ receive feedback. Lots of transparency and desire for everyone to grow.
All the opportunities we have for the business - and awesome relationships with my peers. They are people I want to solve business challenges with.

Depends which group you work. I don't trust our People Team, especially HRBPs. None of them will actually listen, support, and help! All they care about is how to advance their careers. The system is broken! So sad to see a decent company turn into this mess.
The fact we have such high turnover is a tell-tell sign of something is not going right. Stop blaming the great-resignation...and how other companies like to hire SurveyMonkey employees. People are looking for better opportunities, way to use their skills and appreciation of their talent! Wake up!!
SurveyMonkey is super generous with both equity and stock based comp in particular. What they don't tell you when you join - you get refreshed grants after your first year (assuming you're doing well) and those start vesting IMMEDIATELY and on a 3-YEAR cycle - so, instant and accelerated benefit
I don't want more snacks, food, or benefit. I want career advancement and fair treatment from my manager/management. I want us to actually have real products road maps that we can actually solve problems. Not fluff of we have DEI and treat certain minority group as if they are invisible.

Exposure to a lot of different people that I now work with daily. My process included a final round presentation. It took a fair amount of work - but it was a good forcing function for me to think deeply about the business... and by the time I went through it, I KNEW I wanted the job
