I feel very supported in my position and the leadership team makes even monotonous meetings fun to attend.
They are accessible, communicative, and fun.
Frequent communication, updates, and engagement
they all used to be field staff. they understand the struggles of working on projects for a long time, away from home and family.

Consolidate and pay us more money
There has recently been a shift in the company culture to focus more on "the numbers" and less on retaining our technical experts. The product we sell here is our people, and if we aren't investing in keeping the best experts here we are going to start losing what makes SWCA great.
The health care seems competitive, at least coming from a state agency. Biannual bonuses are good. I'm still not sure if there's an advantage to ESOP over 401K match, but seems to be good so far. I really don't like that I get so little vacation and wellness leave.

Wellness time, annual merit increases
I am more than satisfied with my pay, and I am grateful to have a benefits package with optional FSA and a company-funded HSA.
Good salary, good benefits, lots of time off, and employee ownership!
Our employee benefits have been improved greatly since I started, and I feel like my supervisors/leads listen when I say I need to be paid more for the tasks I do.
During a lateral position move I was informed that I'd been at the bottom of the wage range for my original title, and my own supervisor revealed that when moving to the new title in a different department, that director and VP wanted to offer me MORE but supervisor refused. Result? Feel undervalued

Not keeping up with competitive firms in similar roles, national average
My pay is below average for my skillset and experience in the industry and area. I would feel better if the company was better at allowing training and continuing education. This is often discouraged from a cost perspective from leadership and executive teams.
Compared to other environmental consultant firms, I have seen that hourly employees are paid less. Additionally employees can't access the ESOP benefits until 2 years after hiring.
We have a really great team in Salt Lake City. They're engaged, supportive, inclusive, all really great, approachable people, caring, fun to work with.

Very positive and supportive of needs and goals
The interdisciplinary collaboration is awesome, and I always feel like I can ask questions about things I don't understand. It's a very supportive team.
People that care and enjoy working together, no one tries to get ahead by putting others down.
Participate more, show up to meetings, share knowledge, improve communication skills, mentor each other, be honest about work load.

The company is loyal to employees, even to the extent that some who don't perform as well as their pay grade reflects are tolerated, maintained, or even advanced, and there are generally good opportunities for professional development and competitive benefits.

Flexibility to pursue new projects and learn new skillsets. I also like the ERGs and Gives Back initiatives
I really appreciate that diversity is a priority, and that we have employee resource groups to bond with others who have similar interests/disabilities/identities, etc.
Better pay would boost morale.

I get the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, learn new skills or hone others. I can decide to move into another career path in the company - we have the ability to work in different areas if we choose to.

the flexibility of working remotely and also being able to do field work
I love my office and the giant window next to it. I enjoy completing the work I am comfortable with and being challenged by new things that I may be uncomfortable with. I have learned so much this way, grown a lot, and feel supported to continue growing.
Pay us more money please
Morale on my team right now is low, and it is showing. Its taking a toll on everyone. More investment in the people will help reignite their passion and excitement for work. We also need to find ways to engage with eachother and rebuild our teamwork
