Positivity. Positive thinking creates positive outcomes. Everyone smiles. Of course every company has the complainers, but over all most employees share jokes and positive energy.
They listen, they understand that the compensation is not the best and when you take away lower or remove the employees insentive to work, staying positive about your job is tougher. They help to lighten the mood.
The Interviewer wants to know who you are as a person. Job skills can be taught. They look to see it you have the positive energy that will work well with others and drive the company forward.
You should be paid based on results, not how much time you put in. I think we should be paid a lower hourly rate with a higher bonus compensation. Make us work for ourselves. Then you will see that C- rise up to a B+ or an A
Company events. We had one guy put together a kickball tournament for the DeLand location. 8 teams showed up on probably the hottest day of the year, and the one guy that put it all together was the umpire all day. He was struggling at the end, but overall everyone had a blast.
