Communication, allowing SMEs to provide input on projects they are working on, designing training programs to allow new employees to be better prepared for their role, be more transparent about the metrics utilized in employee reviews.
Need to build a better culture. When your manager tells the team that you are salaried and you need to work more than 40 hours a week it does not make you feel appreciated
Pay your employees the value they've earned, both for the work they perform and the revenue they generate. Replace the leadership team with people who actually want to make the software better instead of sycophants only here to legally syphon capital and value to the shareholder.
Appreciating the individual contributor and their thoughts
Listening to people who disagree or have a different viewpoint.
I believe I'm paid fairly, however, there is a lack of opportunities to grow in my position.

The discretionary PTO is the best part
the method of promotion is weird and not truly reflective of hte person, their accomplishments and manger recommendation. Its dependent on a board of people with NO CLUE about the person, their role, their job, their personality , their drive

I believe that the symplr pay structure is lower than the market rate and our leadership can work to restructuring them based on merit over a period of time.

The general tone here makes it seem like we are all replaceable resources, and not truly valued as people. We were once told that high performers would receive higher pay increases only to have that change right before the review cycle began. The new metrics made previous "rockstars" just average.
As a Smart Square acquisitioned employee, I see that my skills compared to market are above average, yet I'm paid below market for my skills. Why should I continue to push for results when it's not rewarded?

When my coworkers are kind, they are great. When something sets them off, it feels a bit hostile at times. Especially recently.

Rights need to be restored to the worker and the offshoring of work needs to stop. There is no justification for ELT course of action other than to value profits over humans and strip workers of their value.

Poor communication between departments, too many administrative tasks, processes seem to change weekly, talent under-utilization, lack of training, frequent layoffs, off-shoring of jobs, too much focus on money instead of actually helping customers, products don't seem to be getting better
Customers reach out to sales to get help and want to pay but sales is not even replying to them. We are not supporting our customers unfortunately and it is very sad
Fire the CEO BJ Schaknowski.
The right teams aren't listening to feedback from other teams. Input from our customers often gets overlooked or not seen as important enough compared to internal feedback.
Resource issues have always been a problem, no changes there. Product is poorly tested leaving that testing to the customers to find bugs, puts us in a bad light. However the ELT is all sunshine and roses on company calls, not true to the teams with the boots on the ground.
