The onboarding process during my first 6 months went quite well. Now well into my second year at Synopsys, I am becoming more productive. I find that my previous experience in the semiconductor industry in valued. There are many more career opportunities here than at previous employers.

I enjoy learning new material, trying out innovative approaches, and solving difficult problems. There is an abundance of all three in my current role.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Synopsys upper management is focused on efficiency, the interoperability of our different software tools, and catching future growth opportunities. Their strong customer focus is critical for long-term company success.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Outstanding achievements are acknowledged in quarterly division-level meetings, internal conferences and off-site meetings keep employees curious and engaged. My office environment is quite pleasant with a lot of snacks. Monthly office events strengthen our sense of community.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very willing to help each other out when we encounter problems or do not know what to do next. Most are based in other locations, but weekly interactions strengthen the sense of community. We have a mix of very experienced to intermediate experienced engineers to recent college graduates,
