Overall experience has been good, but of course varies with teams. I wish there were better co-ordination between various groups within SNPS. I feel groups are focused when there is a paying customer. But internal groups are a non paying customer.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Good contributors, highly knowledgeable, good collaborators, hard working.
What makes you most happy at work?
New challenges, accomplishments, and opportunities to learn new things.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They put forward a goal and they communicate it with their employees. Each quarter they grade the performance and let us what is working and what is not.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Supportive leaders, feeling respected, diversity and inclusion, good communication. Would certainly love to have better perks and amenities outside US01. And more opportunities and time to learn new things.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The avg compensation in the industry is much higher than what is being paid. Secondly there has been a very different approach to Software group (SIG) than other groups witin SNPS.
