Synopsys offers a great experience as an engineer. Things do continuously change. Things can be stressful since some customers cannot share information. I enjoy working with our customers.

I like learning. I like teaching. I like interacting with others and solving complex problems.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I find everyone is helpful. People try their best at Synopsys. Even in situations where things go wrong, we stay positive and address the issues.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Synopsys is often at the leading edge of change to make the world a better place. Synopsys enables many of the positive developments going on from a technological standpoint and from a human perspective. Synopsys cares.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the new OKR system may help out. Previous evaluations have been based on more subjective rather than objective analysis. Synopsys has not kept up with the cost of living. I have to work remotely since Synopsys chose to close my two offices. I am skeptical that other companies are better.
