being able to wfh so i can be stress free and get work done

Leadership sets a negative tone, too busy worrying about their ego. Leadership too emotional and petty.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Leadership isn't qualified enough to have the knowledge to understand the skill sets required to do a great job. Under values great talent.
