My overall experience at Texas Roadhouse has been pretty neutral. I love coming into work and meeting each of the guests as I serve them and making regulars. However, I hate how unneccessarily stressful each shift is because of other people being lazy, not doing their jobs and management not caring.
What makes you most happy at work?
The guests that come in are what make me most happy at Texas Roadhouse. Meeting all of the different people and getting to get to know them while serving them is why I enjoy my job. If it wasn't for our customers, I wouldn't ever come back to this place.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are responsible for the majority of the functions required to run the store, however, we are paid like we are just entering the workforce. They expect us to make our job our main priority, however they never make us a priority. Real benefits should be offered to us, not expensive, bare minimum.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My team could start by changing their attitude towards their work and one another. Everyone is always in a bad mood and taking it out on one another. If everyone would be mature and come there to actually do their job, each shift would run more smootly. But most of the employees are lazy and immatu

The interview process at Texas Roadhouse was very simple. I only had to speak to one manager, had one day of orientation, three days of "shadowing" someone and then I took my validation test in front of a manager and was put on the floor the next day. I liked that I didn't have to wait weeks for pay
