How's the leadership on the Engineering team at The Home Depot?
Dysfunctional. We spend weeks working towards a goal under and then they tell us that there's a change of plans. Managers fail to deal with issues that waste many hours of time and cause regular production bugs.
It really depends on the team that you are looking to join. Each team has a different personality and some of the directors are cooler than others. We are doing some good development and have some really strong engineers and engineering managers. Great company to join but ask a lot of questions about the teams dynamic and manager/director approach
What is the best part about your compensation package at The Home Depot?
Employee Stock Purchase Program, yearly raises, opportunity for constant advancement
commissioned salespeople should be paid a base salary, or at least given a draw for the first 6 months to a year. It would reduce turnover!

My Peers that are male and new to their Position got started with a higher scale pay rate . So it depends if you are like by your District People and off course they will pay you more ????????????????. Don’t get me wrong I loved and enjoyed coaching and training my peers ,but very unfortunately I did not know how to play their politics way . I caught my ASDS stealing Time while I was doing my operation job and My SM and District Retailate towards me when I reported what happened. Gave them all the date and time when it was edited and Brian Boggs still works for the company. Very Sad !
