Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Used to be my favorite place on earth, I would rant about it and refer anyone I knew. Now, the pay stinks, tenured employees are not valued or paid fairly, we have crappy budgets, no innovation, and often beat good ideas to death until they are "safe"

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is the only good thing about working here

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Fair, equitable pay for tenured employees, especially in comparison to new hires

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I would love if new hires more junior than me weren't coming in making 30-40% more than me

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

a lot -- inability to make quick, risky decisions in a time when customer sentiment is low and competitors are increasing their budgets

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We've been told market adjustments would happen in 2021 but have had NO mention of them again since. Employees are leaving in DROVES for better paying jobs. a 30% market adjustment would make me feel better.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The systems and processes in place are moving backward while we are trying to move forward. We are unable to pay vendors on time, budgets are getting slashed right and left, and we're still expected to be forward thinking. It's impossible.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

equitable pay + total rewards across the board. TKWW employees are paid far below market rate with subpar benefits. Some teams are able to pull off insane bonuses and pay increases for their employees while others struggle to even get proper headcount.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

A shift to make culture focus more equitable now that most of the workforce is operating remotely and with a leaner teams. There is no longer time to attend a guided meditation, instead pay WFH stipends and observe more holidays so people are FORCED to disconnect.

What are some of the best things about your team?

This company had some of the BEST of the BEST people immediately post-merger, when culture and pay was still a priority to leadership. The few who remain are growing wary of holding out for the company to do the right thing. We USED to have the most talented, creative workforce around.
