Transparency - Open communication. Helped foster culture of support and inclusivity.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would say compensation across the board needs work. The Knot isn't super competitive right now.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is super caring and works well together. They listen and help whenever it is needed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The fact that I know that my leadership cares about me as a person and sees my value.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct leadership team listens and takes action when I need support. They take the time to understand the nuances of the business to help support.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team cares about me, my growth and development and future goals. They listen to my input on business and team decisions. This is the most positive culture i've experienced in a workplace before.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People actually care about you here. Leadership is transparent and inclusive. There is an emphasis on team here and I have not yet experienced having to deal with many politics in leadership. People are open to hearing your ideas and super supportive.
What makes you most happy at work?
The work I am doing in the creative studio is exciting. We have ample support from leadership to grow our business. We are given autonomy to decide what is best for our business and team. My boss, peers and direct reports are FANTASTIC. I get to be creative every day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I took a large pay cut to work here because I believe in what my org is doing and I appreciate the culture of the company and team. I hope that my work to help the company grow will reflect a bump in compensation. I do appreciate the PTO and health insurance packages (comparable to last employer)
