there used to be a connection UL retirees would have with UL . new CEO ended that , very disappointing. I always have reminded staff that UL Solutions is a company ( like many others) that is money focused first, its a business and don't fall for the employees are the face of the company routine.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
there is at least an effort to be transparent.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
bonus is good , merit avg. UL tends to not be a leader in this area but rather at the median. lead to get the best and retain the best.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
hybrid working work well even though leadership is not so thrilled about it. forcing staff back into the office is not the way BUT there are ways to incentifize staff to return , to make it there own preference. I will consult on this if asked.
