Great company to work for overall. Some departments are still old school, but I see continuous improvements. Looking forward to the future of UL!
What makes you most happy at work?
My manager and team always listen and balance the workload accordingly. I rarely feels over worked or bored.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are very diverse and besides pandemic, have many employee events that make UL fun to work for.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The yearly bonus is a nice, but I think getting as much healthcare coverage as we do helps me the most.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team listens to what we have to say and is always asking if we need any help facilitating with other departments. Something that has been appreciated since day one of starting.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is the best in the midwest. Compared to other similar teams I've worked with, we are more efficient, communicative and really there to help each other. I've seen other teams struggle with these.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The manager I originally interviewed with was awful and made me not want the job. Then my not current manager came in and everything got better. I saw the future of the team I was joining was bright and knew that if I stuck around a few years, thing would be great. I was right and have no regrets.
