It is so thrilling to work with some of the smartest scientists and engineers in the industry. There is always something new and exciting going on at UL.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our leadership talks about "One UL" and have been actively working to break down silos and work processes that are inefficient and cause infighting. I've seen big progress towards that in the past two years.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
UL has a great 401K match that has helped my retirement portfolio grow tremendously since I've been here. Other companies may offer slightly more in base salary but the competitive retirement and bonus structure more than make up for it.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I had the opportunity to sit down with both my potential boss and two members of the team I ended up working on. I was able to get a feel for their personalities and our chemistry so I felt confident that it would be a good fit.
