United Airlines Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

great health insurance and salary

The room for growth and more

Good work-life balance along with good pay.

Industry average salary, good bonus and long term incentives if you stay long enough for it to vest.

Review from Engineering Dept

I came for the free travel and stay because I love the job

Employer matched retirement account, flight benefits, sick time

Medical coverage is pretty good.

Review from Design Dept

Flight benefits for my family

Health insurance and the 401K pkg.

After 1year you get higher 401k match

Good hourly rate, high Direct contribution to 401k

I believe we have excellent benefits with United Airlines. Free flying. Thanks Diane

All of it. And I mean it

The whole comp picture is good.

Review from IT Dept

United has developed a strong benefits package including 401K.

Health insurance, flight benefits, vacation time.

Health care is good but prices keep rising faster than our pay.

I feel I get a fair compensation and great flight benefits.

Excellent healthcare plans are available

The different components: good base salary, healthcare, travel benefits, pension

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Increase fixed pay and that will work

As a supervisor, I have way more responsibility than a lead union employee and they are easily able to make more lmore money than me with much less aggravation

Consider previous experience and pay according to performance.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They say that our travel benefits are accounted for in our hourly increase.

The workload and immense responsibility of the job should demand much higher compensation

Have more incentives most customers don't want the chase credit cards

Return company quarterly give aways. (I.e. cars & money) for job well done.

A high percentage of bonus is paid in RSU. The UAL stock performance is net 0 over the last 10+ years. Pay is lower than normal in the Chicago downtown market

A 25% raise over the course of our next contract

Treatment by management if you are not their favorite

Compensation is very low in flight benefits are used as part of that. What benefits do not pay the bills.

Does not fair well from a competitive offer in the market. It would probably fall on the bottom side of compensation offered

If they treated each worker in Catering Operations with respect.

Too many times I have been asked to share the pain, yet when times are good the promise of shared rewards is not fulfilled.

There should be a higher night and weekend differential, and they should contribute more to our 401K

Review from Operations Dept

It's very difficult for any leader to express legitimate gratitude toward front-line employees. It's all fake. Better performance rewards would help.

Review from Operations Dept

im supposed to work part time and sometimes im working for 11 hours and they barely pay me.

Pay is significantly lower than other airlines despite being in high cost Chicago. sUA employees paid much higher than sCO.

For all the hours I work, along with shift differential, I don't get any extra pay for the work.

Review from Engineering Dept

Better relationships between boss and employees goes a long way for a company
