What's the Engineering team like at United Airlines?
Absolutely horrible. Backstabbing cutthroat environment to get projects completed. Normal workweek is well in excess of 70 hours, with many hours on nights/graveyard, weekends and holidays. Nothing quite like receiving overtime as a holiday bonus. Management promotes people based on "extracurricular activities" - retaliates against whistleblowers.

Not often enough. However, we do share in bonuses and profit sharing.

A lot of people like him and think he's genuinely a warm and honest guy. There's also a strong opinion the leaders under him are not, that there is a disconnect.

It's average as far as traditional big companies go.
