What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The company should aim for quality before quantity. Improving employee satisfaction is important.

Review from Customer Support Dept

United has fallen into the wokeness that many are falling into. Stop the madness and run a fair and equitable company.

Let employees have room to not be micro managed

Stop leading from the top down.

Eliminate 50% of management. The kingdoms and silos are huge. I have 10 layers of management between me and the top.

Company would make work only what they want, if it doesn't effect important people, nothing will get fixed, and the rest will just suffer with bad technology/product. There is a fair share of obvious discrimination in multiple aspects; always with unsubstantiated excuses. Pitiful.

Review from Operations Dept

Getting into work and prepared is a challenge. This is not exclusive to United. I'm expected to do 12 things before my shift starts. Just want to come in, work and go home.

Review from Operations Dept

I think the frontline employees should be more valued. They deal directly with the customers.

Review from Operations Dept

It can not be improved

Review from Engineering Dept

Extremely hostile and negative work environment. Incompetent leaders throughout company. Need to gut leadership from top to bottom; need to stop treating unions better than management.

Unethical and retaliatiatory organization. When you stand up for what is right and speak up against management, they retaliate against whistleblowing. HR and upper management need to listen to whistleblowers and prevent retaliation.

Review from Engineering Dept

management does not care about employees

Review from Customer Support Dept

Policies on baggage could help to improve the boarding process

Review from Customer Support Dept

What do you like best about your company?

Travel benefits but they have deteriorated greatly over the last 10 years.

The way people help one another.

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Eliminate layers of management and become a more responsive and employee focused solutions company.

Growth.
