UPMC Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I feel of medical; dental and vision package is good. Benefits are good.

Good benefits that match what I need

Benefits are good. Vision Health Dental

The Health insurance that I have.

Retirement...I really don't need the other benefits...I'm covered

Review from Operations Dept

PTO time off and accrued

Review from Operations Dept

Generous PTO time, although being consistently short staffed does not allow us nurses to use PTO.

The health insurance is inexpensive and pretty good coverage.

Review from Admin Dept

The wages are good based off of the market. However the benefit compensation is lower than expected for working for a Healthcare company. Often paying more than someone that does not work for the company.

Review from IT Dept

The salary is the best part

Review from Customer Support Dept

I'm not sure what my compensation package has included in it.

Review from Operations Dept

The benefits are truly great

The retirement is the best package

Company owned Insurance division keeps employee costs down.

Review from Admin Dept

Guaranteed pay every two weeks.

Review from Operations Dept

health insurance, eye insurance and dental

Review from Customer Support Dept

401k, insurance, shift rate differential

Review from Customer Support Dept

It is better then most companies

Review from Customer Support Dept

I'm very grateful for affordable health, vision, and dental insurance and to be able to take paid days off to spend time with my family.

Review from Product Dept

I'm just happy that I have a great job with great benefits

Review from Admin Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

65 per hour ive worked for them for 35 years

TORs are being denied because there is no one to cover. No one wants a job that pays unfairly for the amount of work expected. A person with my experience and education should be making $20,000 more than I do right now after 5 years with UPMC. Give me that and I'll feel better.

LPN's are worked just like the RN's, the pay between the two positions is around $15, the pay between and LPN and PCT is about a $3 difference. Treat LPN's like the NURSES we are.

They value and praise bad employees when decide to one day a month actually do their job. And I would feel better if I made more than a fast food working.

Effort to take interest in investing in my career growth

Fair pay for the work we do

More money and safe staffing.

Better pay and an opportunity for promotion...

Pay people what they are worth.

Understaffed, underpaid, always expected to do more than pay grade. No incentives. Corruption from the top. Millions received from Covid epidemic, all of which went to people that sit on their ass at a desk in a tower in Philadelphia while thinking how they can screw us even deeper.

everyone does.37% of employees felt valued in a recent survey

Every week we are asked to do more work from departments we don't even work under, but we aren't given more pay. So it's just added stress and responsibility with nothing to show except a fake "you rock" email that corporate sends out. Phony af.

Review from Operations Dept

More comprehensive sick leave, non-essential employees forced back to the office before lockdown was lifted.

Review from Admin Dept

Better insurance benefits would be nice

Review from Admin Dept

They ask for more responsibility but don't pay you anymore money

Review from Customer Support Dept

Severely overworked. Do the job of multiple employees. Micromanaged. No one listens. Fix problems of others because they believe it's not their problem, but no credit. Be monetarily compensated for the amount of work performed. More vacation time.

Review from Customer Support Dept

better percentage for yearly evaluations

Review from Customer Support Dept

I know this is the biggest employer but the ceo is making a killing while it holds in non-profit status

More of a raise than 3%

Review from Operations Dept

Equal pay for the amount of time we as employees put in and also better healthcare.....We have terrible coverage considering we work for one of the biggest health care providers.
