US Department of Veterans Affairs Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

highly knowledgeable, and available to the staff

there training to improve the quality and care to veterans

My immediate supervisor is one of the best I have ever had.

ability to act quickly on issues

They need to take the frontline workers more serious when issues arise and not ignore them, which is usually the case. That leads to a hostile work environment when we try to report it, we get the back lash.

Review from Admin Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Staff needs human resouce education.

not sure what should be done to improve

Taking care of their employees, listening to their concerns and keeping a diverse work force

listening, staffing, hiring nurses, not having a director, associate director assistant associate director, etc

Stop being fake and start being honest

Acknowledging support staff. Stop disrespecting non-vet employees to their faces. More leadership training opportunities.
