Leadership puts everything on you. There is no coaching to get better or help. Leadership looks after themselves. When there are longer tickets half a mile + there is no help just hurry and get it done. So you get flak from both leadership and contractors. Better involvement is a must.
Supervisors feel that if anything happens it’s your fault period. Instead of looking at an overall picture and saying how can we effectively do this better. I cross paths with people every day in my field that invite me to work for there company. There biggest selling point is it’s managed better.
More involvement from leadership. Not just meeting to talk about production but real meetings to talk about what we can do or to formulate plans to aggressively attack large tickets or excessive passed dues. If we work as a team instead of its your area figure it out then we will have better results
If we could set up meetings to coordinate on larger tickets versus just do a little here and there until it’s done this would allow all of to be more aggressive in attacking smaller tickets and knocking them out. It would build team ethic that we are here to help each other and help the company.
