USIC Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Very Hands-On as well as carrying to the point of letting you know that you are not just an employee or a number that meant a lot to me

They have good content for the job

They helping in anyway possible and they are really worried about safety a lot

They are upbeat, energetic, and if you put in the work, it will definitely pay off

Very helpful and understanding with each issue

They care more then they get paid unlike the CEO's who have never set foot on a locate but get paid like they know what's going on.

Communications skills are wonderful and very fast to respond

Not that bad. Really nice and will help if needed.

Its a great team to work for

Everything about it is great

Understanding, straightforward, and open to new ideas

They are stern and to the point.

Lead tech is better than supervisor

Our director is extremely positive and enthusiastic, which makes the rest of the team pumped up.

Is trying to make the place a better work environment. It still has a way to go though

The occasional bonus offers to get people to work.

They are supportive sometime depends on the situation

my supervisor is a Joke but other than that ok

communication with district and changes coming

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Certainly not micro management and

Extremely disorganized and dont do much for the workers especiallt at the holidays no bonuses

Making sure their employees are good and properly equipped with working equipment and incentivize floating since they force us to float to other areas again with no incentive. We don't even get outstanding marks points.

Review from Operations Dept

Communication. Training. Pay raises. Etc.

Micromanaging ego maniacs running this company. You can get the rug pulled out from under you at any given moment without warning. Toxic, unhealthy work environment where you can't trust anyone.

I know it varies depending on management but the area I locate in management will ignore you unless they want/need something. You give large areas with upwards of 7 way locates and get lectured if you start to fall in the red

Being more compassionate for your field techs that literally make this company go around

Keep employees from quitting. Quantity of tickets to complete inconsistant with trying to prevent mismarks and damages.

Work life balance is awful. They expect you to work 80 hours a week and most holidays.

Review from Operations Dept

The workload balance is awful, not enough employees to complete the contracts so everyone is on mandatory overtime all the time. I was told during the interview process that we have 8 hour days and no weekends. My second week was overtime and a forced weekend day totaling almost 60 hours.

Review from Operations Dept

Starting hiring employees and show those that have worked that you care about them and not just treat them like a number

Review from Operations Dept

taking care of the people who make their jobs and company possible

Review from Operations Dept

Consistency , they never lead by example

Review from Operations Dept

Everything that it take to run a company

They are not in touch with reality. Everything is based on LPH and that does not go hand in hand with quality. Supervisors receive bonuses on LPH and not quality. As long as that continues quality will suffer. Management receives all the bonuses and high salaries while technicians receive low pay.

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership puts everything on you. There is no coaching to get better or help. Leadership looks after themselves. When there are longer tickets half a mile + there is no help just hurry and get it done. So you get flak from both leadership and contractors. Better involvement is a must.

Understand difference between quality and quantity

Keeping us safe and giving better benefits

Pay your experienced employees what they are worth, stop making excuses and be honest you never have enough employees to handle the work

No nepotism for sure someone thats fair people who know how to train properly not just want they feel like teaching people to be respectful and not to be looking down on someone all the time
