Vail Resorts Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Being able to ski. Management is trying to take that away. It feels like.

Taking a twisted piece of machinery and straightening it back out true and strong is incredibly satisfying. My fabrication skills save the resort thousands upon thousands of dollars annually.

Just talking to some of the guest briefly and tips of course. They tip well in Vail.

Review from Operations Dept

Customer interaction and being in operations. Recognition of the team.

Being able to help internal and external guests on a daily basis.

Completing projects. Providing great experiences for our guests.

Clear, concise goals to be accomplished.

Running my snow cat and making the trails beautiful for everyone

Working in an industry I am passionate about.

The people I work with.

taking the time to do things correctly, not being restricted by unrealistic timelines

Review from Customer Support Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There is NO customer service? They just get an email address. And no HR. It is all a computer and nothing gets answered?

Review from Operations Dept

lift ticket prices are too high

Review from Customer Support Dept

Listen to your employees who have more experience. My boss said my mountain and I have been skiing it prior to his birth. I thought that was arrogant.

Review from Operations Dept

Overcrowding and a lack of staff.

Just all corperate intrest they dont care about you

More employees and have the one who know what there doin make more decions in the field

The company does not listen to customers

Stop being a monopoly and eating up every competition available

- Culture -Leadership - Out of touch - TOXIC BLAME CULTURE

Communication across the company and trusting your employees to do the work. Empower the employees to contribute to the success of the company.

Leadership needs a turnover or rethink.
