One word: greedy. They lie about the possibility of pay raises and have "restructured" pay scale so much that I'm now making nearly half what I did last year. Many classes are poorly written and the "incentives" can only be described as insulting.

The students are the only positive.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They need to offer better teacher support if they want to jeep any teachers worth their salt.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to teachers. Being less greedy. Designing better classes. Holding parents to and students to a higher standard that matches the demands they make of teachers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The pay is abysmal. Pay people more. We are professionals with degrees and experience. Stop squeezing us dry so you can keep getting wealthier at our expense.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
VIPKid has been chipping away at teacher pay since its CEO got greedy. Stop with the insulting "incentives" like tokens and dumbass paper cutouts. Give us more money.
