I liked the manager but she has left the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There was nothing positive about this job. They train on breakfast and then throw you on another. No training. It is sink or swim. My store manager quit after 6 months.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Get a real dishwasher. Train and make these people feel that there will be consequences. Had a coworker cuss out a manager 2 times in 2 days. Got suspended for 3 days. Most places will fire you for that.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Waffle House is a joke. Divas everywhere. Train you for morning and then give you the mid shift 2-9. Made $9 in a 4 hour period. No manager around after 3:30. If you need anything in the back, you are out of luck. Storage is locked. Run, Run, Run away.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No management ever available. Worked there a month and never got a name tag. Went in to get my check and told I would have to wait an hour to get it. Went to my location to get uniform after orientation. Manager would not talk to me and talk to me come back later.
