For the almost 2 years i have worked there it has slowly amped up my anxiety to the point that i dread the thought of going in to work. It just keeps getting worse and worse. The work just keeps increasing and the staff people keep decreasing in numbers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
To be honest not much.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was nice and simple for my first job.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Not all but most of my coworkers are very defensive when approached about problems in the workplace which leads to very stressful shifts.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
They can hire more people. We have 50% of the staff we should have on 3rd shift 1 cook instead of 2 and 1 server instead of the 3 that we should have.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team is very out of touch with the people on the ground. leading to unrealistic goals and deadlines. When the pandemic hit the people on the top took away cook bonuses and 25% of the unit manager salaries. I am about to leave waffle house and never look back.
