Walmart will keep going strong for a long time
Walmart's commitment t exploring new avenues makes me feel that they will continue to thrive for a long time to come.
I think they will always do good because of their prices. But they will always have many unhappy employees who don't have a lot of options on where else they can work.
is it cool to drink when youre at work? or are people weird about it
We can no0t drink coffee, water, or soda while on the floor

At one point in time we were allowed to have water on the sales floor, now with new management we aren't allowed any drinks on the sales floor. So it would depend on your particular area and your management

as long as you don't call in...my job is secure

You gotta use the doctors in the stores. I haven’t found a good one yet. The glasses selections are out of date but I can get an eye exam and progressive glasses for under $100.

There was a definite line between associates and management.
Very helpful in the first 2 weeks. After that, not very helpful.

Some managers excel while others fall very short making everyone look bad.

What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at Walmart? How many hours are you working?
Terrible. About 25-30 a week.
The vibe is heavy, riddles with suspicion. Working 35 - 40 hours weekly.
20 hours. sometimes as many as 25. unable to get more than that and its frustrating as hell

It varies. I personally help a customer in deciding what they would like
