What does the leadership team need to get better at?
COMMUNICATION! The level right below C level stops all information flow. Investing in the employees at the bottom instead of constantly hiring more VPs, Directors, etc. Leadership team is also extremely out of touch with how most of the employees live. We don't make way over six figures and live lik

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Bench-marking against the industry, we seem to be slightly under. Again, just my individual feeling.

I could use more support. It's not all about compensation, it's about life/work balance which for my position does not exist.

I feel like I do the work of multiple jobs but only get paid for doing one. I would feel better about my compensation if there was tuition reimbursement or more opportunities to gain certifications/skills that help me move into a new position.

You are not rewarded unless you are a squeaky wheel and beg for a raise above the 3%. My pay is under market value - an analysis across the board to try to bring wages up to the proper value would go a long way.

Volume of work has been unreal and not OT eligible so I've put in hours and hours I'll never be compensated for. Wish the insurance options were better.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
direction from leadership is oh you are unhappy with something? find a new job. more work added on that you aren't getting a raise for? deal with it. Zero communication from our VP, no department meetings or anything to create a healthy department

It's hard to make decisions and complete projects when the proper messaging and information is not funneled down to the manager level. After the executive level the messages and direction is blocked by the VP's/directors.
