What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our company’s leadership style reflects a servant mentality! My conversations with the leadership team always centers around what they can do for me, not what else I can do for the company. They genuinely want to see each of us succeed and you feel that from them!

There is lots of opportunity for a fair increase in compensation or potential for bonus, as long as the employee is able to meet and/or excel company expectations & KPIs.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Not much room to move up. A lot of hiring outside of the company leaving fewer opportunities for current employees to grow.

We value each other’s opinions! Every person on my team wants to help each other. We make ourselves available to do so and remind one another so no one forgets we are here for each other!

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
No political maneuvering or unnecessary drama

The most positive part of our culture is our genuine desire to help make a positive difference in the world. We provide our customers a servant mentality and it’s rare to have a company which provides the same mentality/service to their employees also.

Company culture is open and not as rigid as other corporate offices. You can dress up or down and still be respected. They support several non-profit organizations and even give you a day of PTO to use to volunteer, if you want.

Everyone is a team player and are constantly looking to better themselves and the people around them. I have never worked in a place with this level of positive culture before and should be one people take notes from.

What makes you most happy at work?
My happiest moments come from my customers. When they express their gratitude for positively changing their business and lives, I am fulfilled! Second, is the appreciation RevLocal expresses towards me and other employees. It really makes a difference to feel valued!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
If the retention rate of employees were nearly as important as that of clients it would be a much better indicator of overall success. "Growing" doesn't just mean hiring people to replace the ones leaving.
