I think it's a good company to work for. I love my job. However, you're not compensated for cross training in other departments. Raises come once a year and aren't often impressive, and bonuses are even more rare. This job is good for gaining experience but it's not a career.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When everybody plays their part, there are no issues.
What are some of the best things about your team?
When we are communicating well, we get all of our work done.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love my job. I just think employees who are skilled in several departments should get paid more, not the same pay as a person who only knows 1 job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Explaining company policies to the employees. Sometimes it seems like "rules" are made up and enforced, but they're not written in company policy. Some Supervisor's will allow lenience with certain employees but other Supervisor's won't regarding PTO and errors in work processes.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
At times I have supervisor's asking me questions when they should be communicating with my supervisor. When there are urgent items needing attention I have to follow up and tell supervisors to do their part but they get paid more than me.
