I'm on a team with the largest cust - you just asked about vacation - we all log in to work during our vacation. we cannot keep up without it. We care about our customer and it pays off, but we are most def taken for granted - especially by our Director and his boss. No doubt. so taken for granted.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like that my team consistently earns - and receives - bonuses.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I hardly know them. I don't feel like I can truly answer this question. I know one is letting an approval request for increased head count on our team just collect dust. It's been there for weeks.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My team and my direct manager (not the director, though he's ok. He just flirts with the younger women on the team too much) My team makes my job worthwhile and my manager is most definitely included in "My team". It's what makes me love this job.
What are some of the best things about your team?
we are an actual team who jumps in to help each other without having to be asked. We don't just all work for the same manager, we work together - moreso than in any job I've had since entering the work force in the 90s. we're a family and actually care about each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
my team and our working relationship . We don't complain, we don't whine, and we learn without having to be taught 57 times for each thing. Our manager shares the big picture and explains how we all fit in. we're all overworked, but again - approval forms for more people are just collecting dust.
