I have worked in many offices but this one has A LOT of drama. People care more about what others think of them, than doing their job correctly and working together as a team. Too many office politics and managers/supervisors are not leading by example with their work or consistent.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The select handful of people that were warm and welcoming and helped me learn the processes.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to do my job from the comfort of my home. I also work with some great market managers that make it more fun.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I took a pay cut to take this job because of the benefit of working from home I was promise, now there is talk of possibly going back in. Also, this job is more stressful/work than the previous job I had that paid more. Definitely room for improvement.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Who is the executive team? I am a newer employee of only 7 months and don't know who the executive team is. However, not impressed by the management in my dept. and since starting 7 months ago have brought on two employees that I knew personally and the training here is HORRIBLE.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There is A LOT of office politics in the Syracuse branch on Fly rd, to the point that I work from home and have only been here a few months and picked up on it. I would never be able to handle working in an office with the group of people we have. I will work from home or quit if forced to go back.
