While I love working here, it is very frustrating to see us lose great new hires (mgmt) because of a few old timers who have a bad attitude. They come in full of fire & want to make things better, but within 5 months, they are looking for a new job because they get tired of fighting a losing battle
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Right now without leadership, there isn't a lot of positives.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to get a project done start to finish in the timeline I allot for it. I am interrupted so many times a day it is very hard to get one project done.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We need leadership that will enforce the processes and policies. There is too much "good ole boys" going on here. There is zero communication between upper management and team members. No one will hold mgmt accountable for their failure to do their jobs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Within my team, we have good communication, we I.M. constantly in a group so we all can work on things together. We maintain positive weekly meetings to work on any issues any one site is having. That cross country involvement allows for larger group of assistance.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Most people treat my position as a clerk, yet we do so much more than that. We are the center of each site we have - purchasing, asset tracking, computer techs and so much more that we are not given credit for or acknowledge that we do all of this.
