We have a very experienced group. While they're experienced in our company/industry they all bring a different, valuable, perspective.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I believe the adjustments made to our VPP plan (quarterly goals) is a great way to compensate employees based on the performance of the company. The VPP program itself, and the quarterly targets, are a great incentive.
What makes you most happy at work?
Currently, I'm able to work remotely. This has been great for my work/life balance and I really appreciate that. Knowing this will end, being able to support my family and working with good people makes me most happy.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team understands what's required to run an LTL Trucking company. They don't overcomplicate things, and focus on what's important to move the needle. We've had leadership previously that didn't understand this, and would focus on non value add initiatives.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a lot of adversity in our industry currently. Finding employees, whether it's truck drivers or other roles is challenging. The shortage, it's putting more burden on the current employees. Strong leadership and a strong culture are critical when experiencing adversity, we have both.
