Not a bad experience gives people opportunity to grow and progress inside the company but I would like to have more competitive pay. The janitors at my site make more than full timers do and I believe we do a lot more than janitors in our line of work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That we are one big family.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
That they take the time to listen and work with me when I have personal matters come up outside of work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
That they take direction very well, they take the tasks at hand, they complete the tasks in a timely manner, they don't complain about all the work they have to do.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lack of motivation due to not having competitive pay, better benefits, and more PTO accrual. It would be nice to be able to balance your home and work life rather than constantly feeling like you have to be stuck at work to make ends meet.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because the job that we do for the client continues to grow on the demand side of things but we don't see a pay increase when more things are piled on top of what we already have to handle. Better pay, better benefits, more PTO accrual.
