High level, some management folks are actively engaged while others are purely points of escalation. I feel that amount of work that we do goes unnoticed as very few have an understanding of what our daily tasks consist of.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They support when/if needed. More of an escalation aid if something pops up.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some of the leaders are helpful and readily step in when called upon.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Responding to emails the first or second time, opposed to continually following up for feedback. Understanding what people do, or our actual roles within the organization would greatly help as well. Very seldom is everybody on the same page, we address the same issues week in week out.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued as I am tasked with the job that is a lot more than the title reads. I am solely responsible for an entire department, creating IT tickets, focusing on continuous improvement, manning multiple other priorities and then my actual job. More money would certainly help.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The systems we utilize are extremely outdated and make life more difficult than needed. I am drowning in rectifying issues manually as the system produces an egregious amount of errors. This takes away from what my real responsibilities are. We are going to struggle to be best in class until resolve
