I think XPO is a great company and would recommend it to anyone. I just wish that I felt heard when I have voiced that I am unhappy... Sometimes we are to corporate for our own good. The learning structure, The opp for growth, and the brand is something to be proud of overall.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The environment in the brokerage office since I have came here has changed for the better. Love the team and my reports. The personalities in the office truly mesh. Showing your employees you believe in them changes their outlook.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love the brokerage atmosphere and creating an environment where my employees feel thy can come to me about anything. I love the engagement HR has brought in with 1 forced social event. Creating a fun atmosphere helps employee retention.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I think the uncapped potential is amazing and I would have loved to continue to grow with the company. When you are told one thing and another happens you feel devalued. Going to HR didn't help. Talking to my managers made me feel unheard and my situation belittled.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think we have some extremely talented people and with the right kind of leadership can truly learn and grow. I loved XPO and think we are great strategic partner for customers. It takes so little to show a employee you appreciate them. With some management styles that have taken over that is gone.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love seeing my team and honestly I love teaching them and seeing them win off of what I have taught them. I loved my role as NAM but started to feel like just a number. I think the company is amazing but I unfortunately don't feel happy as I used to. I'm just happy seeing my team so motivated now
