My direct supervisors lays it out - no apologies - just this is the way it is. Gives freedom to get things done as we see fit.

My manager always makes herself available to assist when needed.
Always looking to improve and innovate
I appreciate how my leadership team is always available to help with any problems or questions that arise. I also like that we have weekly and quarterly meetings so we know what is going on with the company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication; team building; visibility; organization.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Based on market research, the company is paying anywhere from $10-20K below what I could make if I moved on from Zenith. I recently found a senior benefit processor that would technically be a demotion for me at Zenith, but it also paid more than my current position.

What perks? Changes are made without any consideration to how it affects the people who actually do the work and interact with the clients. Company built on individual service has now become robotic with "everything should be the same". Guidelines are good but too much structure is suffocating.

Though I have moved up through the company and proven in each of my previous roles that I am effecient, reliable, and also able to assist in figuring out quicker more effecient ways to perform works tasks, I am always only offered the bottom, or near bottom, pay rate for a new role.
Acknowledgment of the hard work being done.
An opportunity to work OT when we are SLAMMED with projects and still expected to keep current with daily work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is great. They communicate and are flexible with assistance.

Some co-workers need to improve on just being friendly and courteous that includes members of the management team. We don't have to be friends but as a team we should at least be friendly.
Communication is key. Taking notes when needed.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I really don't know how to answer this because I'm a remote worker besides automated congratulatory messages. I've heard of other companies spending $20 per remote employee on a little snack basket to say thank you for a year of hard work. Nothing here.

The office staff. Office has run like a team/family for a while. No one minds chipping in if everyone is chipping in. We will all get through this together is our mantra (teamwork makes the dream work)

What makes you most happy at work?
No meetings on the schedule. It's becoming less and less common for there to be a built-in work day. Meeting-less Fridays were an empty promise last year.

Learning new things to help continue to grow in this company.
Just being able to do my job to the best of my ability and knowing I can get assistance when/if I don't understand how to complete a task

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too much work and not enough people to do it. No time to give counseling or consequences for poor work. Also can't afford to lose staff - even bad.
