I came to Calix because I found the mission compelling but I stayed because the people are incredible and Calix continues to offer exciting new opportunities to learn and grow.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is filled with genuinely good people who are incredibly talented and great to work with.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the wide variety of incredibly interesting problems I get to tackle each day and the amazing people I get to collaborate with.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The Employee Stock Purchase Program is great. Everyone has an opportunity to gain from our collective efforts. I find it both rewarding and motivating.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate how accessible and open the Calix leadership team is and how focused they are at making Calix a great company and great place to work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love how open everyone is to working together to solve a problem. There are almost no barriers on our ability to collaborate to solve a problem.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I appreciated how much time my interview team took to get to know me. The process was as much to help them gauge me and it was for me to gauge them.
What makes you most happy at work?
Calix is a place that let's people get things done. There is very little needless burocracy that slows me down. I also appreciate the freedom, trust and self determination I'm given to get things done quickly.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I'm incredibly proud of the Calix leadership. They are very knowledgeable, dedicated and driven, inspiring the whole team to continuously improve. Everyone is very approachable and friendly which has been a really positive influence on the culture.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Calix runs a non-qualified ESPP program that is essentially a buy one get one deal if you hold it for 1 year. It's an incredible program that has provided a lot of value to employees during our rapid growth.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is the reason I am still at Calix. The people I get to interact with every day are incredibly passionate, intelegent and inspiring. There is almost no workplace drama/politics which I really appreciate. Everyone is 100% focused on creating amazing products and services.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
What I find most positive about our culture isn't so much what is present but what it not. I see very little politics, infighting or other toxic behavior. It is refreshing to see a workplace full of people who just want to do what's right for the customer, their co-workers and the company.
