My overall experience has been one of immense stress and frustration. The recruiter was absolutely dishonest in expectations for the role and everyday going into the Paycom office is a nightmare.

The Paycom culture, specifically sales culture, is 100% focused on making money and getting rich. Higher ups and trainers flaunt a flashy lifestyle and expect newbies to work to the bone. It is incredibly superficial and unkind in nature.

This company needs to move away from the churn and burn method in sales. Working new reps 12 hours without lunch and putting on a lot of pressure is not conducive to mature sales growth. This is too intense, leading to unsympathetic management.

Coworkers are cut throat and unhelpful. Everyone works hard to showcase how hard and how many hours they work by not taking lunch and coming into the office early, whether or not actual work is being done is debatable. It is a show of who has less of a life outside of work.
