Retention and building knowledge with way better training.
Review from Sales Dept
The Paycom culture, specifically sales culture, is 100% focused on making money and getting rich. Higher ups and trainers flaunt a flashy lifestyle and expect newbies to work to the bone. It is incredibly superficial and unkind in nature.

Knowing it was a risk the base salary made it an easier transition, but the potential is probably the best

The base salary is the best.

Currently don't have bonuses, stocks, or commission in my role. Most of the company does and comparable jobs in my field do as well. Would like some sort of incentive outside of base salary.

We need a slow-down period 4-6 weeks leading up to a mother's due date. we have a ramp up period from return from leave, but are expected to drive around the state and meet in-person with clients up until we go on leave/deliver baby. We should be able to conduct client mtgs via zoom

I believe compensation should be reflective of cost of living

Coworkers are cut throat and unhelpful. Everyone works hard to showcase how hard and how many hours they work by not taking lunch and coming into the office early, whether or not actual work is being done is debatable. It is a show of who has less of a life outside of work.

This company needs to move away from the churn and burn method in sales. Working new reps 12 hours without lunch and putting on a lot of pressure is not conducive to mature sales growth. This is too intense, leading to unsympathetic management.

Ability to meet with leadership team as well as the sales office. This allowed me to see if it was a culture fit.
