Our team receives a lot of work that interferes with our work-life balance. There's never a set 40 hour work week. Overtime is always expected to happen. The demands of this role far exceed the compensation and value we receive.

A salary adjustment reflecting actual hours worked. I accepted the position based on the assumption that I'd be working 8-5 or 40 hours a week. I exceed that by about 5 hours each week.

What did you like most about the interview process?
My interviews were quick and informative. I didn't feel like I was reciting my resume to my interviewer rather they were asking me relevant questions based on my experience.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Employee morale is very low and I belive it is due to recent layoffs, imcreased workload with less resources, a client-first motto that shows lack of care to the employees, inflexibility, and lack of appreciation by directors and above.

Leaders arent taking time to cast vision or gain cross functional buy in for projects and initiatives. Mostly there is top down directives that leave little room for strategy or comprehensive approaches.
