For corp. it was very informative about what they expected and where the job could lead.
Many employees not proficient in English. Very hard to interact. Not all franchise's make employees take assessment tests, so many things are not communicated effectively to all staff.
FRANSHISEE: Keeps limited employees so no sick pay. No medical, dental, stock options, anything. Corporate stores are NOT the same. They have sick pay, medical, dental. What you'd expect. Not the best or the worst.
No accountability. The owner of the store is very good at telling customers/employees what they want to hear, but not actually doing anything to address the problem, let alone fix it. At owners insistence, expired product put back on the shelf-after he wrote off for credit. Donuts NOT from that day.
Everyone needs to be made to actually follow the standards set up by the corporate 7-Eleven offices. The field consultants need to be more on top of the franchise store owners. No actual accountability for what happens day to day. Corp needs to do more surprise checking of office paperwork.
